Colored fabrics, called colored fabrics in Japan, refer to the process of dyeing yarn or filaments and then weaving them with colored fabrics. This kind of fabric is called "color fabric". The factories that produce colored fabrics are generally called yarn-dyed factories, such as denim, shirt fabrics are mostly colored fabrics.

Colored fabrics are generally produced by small jacquard rapier looms.

The name of the jacquard stitch. A fancy structure of knitted fabric, also known as "large flower structure". The yarn pad is knitted into a circle on the knitting needles selected according to the pattern requirements. The jacquard structure can be formed in weft-knitted or warp-knitted fabrics, single-knitted or double-knitted fabrics. The fabric is composed of large patterns and complex patterns, such as brocade, satin, silk, scenery, quilt, etc. The jacquard fabric needs to be woven with a jacquard loom.

The weft-knitted jacquard fabric consists of two or more loop-forming systems for continuous weaving of jacquard loops. Each circulation system is only used for the circulation of the knitting needles selected according to the required pattern, and the non-circulation knitting needles are withdrawn from work. The new yarn is not placed on these knitting needles, and the old loops are not removed from these knitting needles at the same time. Only when the next looper system is used for loopers, can the jacquard loop be removed onto the newly formed loop. In the picture, the three-color jacquard structure of the weft-knitted three-color jacquard machine is knitted into a row of jacquard loops by three loop-forming systems. The red, black, and white three-color threads are woven in a system of 1, 2, and 3 loops respectively, so that the front side is composed of three-color threads, and the front side is composed of two-color threads one by one arranged into coils. There are many kinds of weft-knitted jacquard, which are divided into single-sided jacquard and double-sided jacquard according to the structure, and single-color jacquard and multi-color jacquard according to the color. According to the same coil size, single jacquard can be divided into uniform jacquard and uneven jacquard. Uneven jacquard fabrics are widely used in socks and outerwear fabrics.

According to the different structure, double-sided jacquard can be divided into complete jacquard and incomplete jacquard. In each looper system, all the needles on the dial are involved in the organization formed by knitting reverse loops, which is called complete jacquard weave; the organization formed by knitting one by one by the dial is called incomplete Jacquard weave. Incomplete jacquard weave is often used in production. The fabric pattern is clear, the structure is stable, and the extensibility and detachability are small. The pattern shape of the weft-knitted jacquard fabric can be arbitrarily changed within a certain range, and is widely used in various outdoor clothing and decorative products.

The warp-knitted jacquard structure refers to the structure of slender loops formed by some needles during the knitting process of the warp-knitting machine. During the formation of this structure, the guide rod did not completely penetrate, and the needles corresponding to the empty guide needles were not mated, so that the new yarn was not matted on these needles, and the old loops did not pass from these needles. Take the top and bottom to form a slender coil. In the warp-knitted jacquard fabric structure, due to the commonly used jacquard panels, the knitting needles selected are not closed. The notch of the jacquard board must correspond to the hollow guide pin in the guide rod, and the jacquard board must move horizontally with the guide rod. Warp-knitted jacquard fabrics are widely used in clothing and decorations.
