Causes of holes in knitted fabrics caused by hydrogen peroxide bleaching
Sep 12, 2021
(1) Before bleaching, the cloth was stained with oil stains of heavy metal ions such as copper and iron; or contacted with equipment such as copper and iron during the bleaching process.
(2) The concentration of hydrogen peroxide is too high, the steaming time after bleaching is too long or superheated steam is used.
(3) If the grey cloth is mercerized before bleaching, the pH value of the cloth surface will be too high and the amount of alkali will be too high due to uneven water washing after mercerizing.
(4) Improper selection of stabilizer or poor stabilizing effect of stabilizer causes accelerated decomposition of hydrogen peroxide.
